Andrew Holt has over 20 years’ experience in the investment industry, with expertise in the banking and private segments. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and earning an MBA from the Institut européen d’administration des affaires, both with distinction, Mr. Holt worked with leading international investment funds such as Ramius Capital Group (a multi-strategy hedge fund of over USD 10 billion, later merged with the Cowen Group), Calder Group Holdings Limited (where he also served as Vice-President) and ArmaVir Partners LLC (a private investment partnership formed as a spin-off of the Ramius Group).
He currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Jefferies Financial Group fund, in the Merchant Banking division responsible for managing a complex, multi-billion dollar portfolio of investments in both public and private companies and assets.
He sits on the board of directors of OpNet S.p.A. (majority shareholder of Tessellis S.p.A.) and Tiscali Italia S.p.A., also serving as Chairman in the latter.
