Roberto Lai graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Cagliari. He begins his career in 1990 at Price Waterhouse S.p.A., where he works as an auditor and certified accountant.
In 1993 he becomes a Chartered Accountant and Auditor and in the same year he starts working for Logistica Mediterranea S.p.A., where he holds the position of Head of Management and Quality Control.
At the end of 1998 he joins Tiscali, where he holds various positions: he is Director of Administration, Finance and Control of Tiscali Italia until June 2006; Director of the Consumer-Soho Division from July 2006 to February 2011; from March 2011 he has been Director of Administration, Finance and Control and then, until September 2016, Head of Management Control.
He has been Consumer and Business market Sales Director since September 2016 and is currently responsible for the evaluation of all economic, organizational and technical opportunities related to the merger between Tiscali Italia S.p.A and Linkem Retail.
